The FairShares Mission Rant

We are passionate about our mission.

The problem is that passion evokes mixed emotions. It generates both the best and the worst in us.

How can you be passionate about the services you offer and not sound like you are selling? How can you believe in something and not be a missionary? How can you stand back when you know that something is important?

Most of us admire people who follow their passions in a good cause, but we get uncomfortable when we are confronted and are asked to participate, even if it is for our own good.

Well, at FairShares we know that venture investing is a good cause. The fact that it can also be very profitable doesn't mean that it should be discounted.

We ask that you consider the following questions, reflect hard on their meaningfullness for you, and then consider whether you are ready to participate in the programs that FairShares is implementing. We hope that you will join with us to expand venture investing for more people.

Did You Get Your Chance Back When? Were you able to get shares at the lowest prices in such companies as Apple Computer, MicroSoft, Cisco, Ebay and Google before they did their IPO's?

How important are ventures in your community or area? Do you agree that more people should know about them?

Should you have a fair opportunity to get the high investment returns from ventures and participate in the pre-IPO process?

What Makes Venture Investing So Important?
Gazelles and Cheetahs

Venture investing is the best of all wealth building alternatives because it combines the best elements of human nature and economics. Simply put: people want to perform and do well, and when they are given the right support, systems and resources they can generate phenomenal results.

Venture investing is about financing of growth companies or ventures. Here is what makes ventures so important:

David Birch used the word Gazelles to refer to small, fast growing companies. These companies generate 80% of the new jobs in an economy. Jim Namaste then used the word Cheetahs to refer to the small fastest growing companies. According to Pareto's Law the Cheetahs are 20% of the Gazelles and generate 64% of the new jobs. The Cheetahs are the ventures that generate the largest investment returns, so that's where we should focus to get the most economic leverage.

Jobs create prosperity, therefore ventures are at the core of prosperity.

Prosperity is the basis for the general well-being of the most people and prosperity prevents many human ills. Prosperity creates more good than any other process.

That is why ventures are so important and why we are passionate about our mission.

People Care More about Fairness

People become most emotional when they perceive that they are not being treated fairly, especially when it involves money.

From small complaints to large-scale political revolutions, we find that the principle of fairness is at the core of them.

What about sharing in the prosperity that is created from ventures? How does that work? Read the commentary in our article section, here, and you can read that there is an expectation that it is fair for more people to get access to the profits generated by successful ventures. However, when you read more, it is clear that such access is still very limited.

Now You Have a Choice!

The development of the Internet, the widespread ownership of personal computers, and availability of related communications and information technologies now make it possible for more people to benefit from business growth, when returns are the highest--in the early stages--with less risk!

Fairshares has been organized to make venture investing available and affordable for the more than 100 million investors who are online and have been excluded from the pre-IPO process.

FairShares is implementing a strategy that broadens venture investing participation and combining it with business growth performance. That is the basic formula for the most profitable investing.
