Venture Investment Clubs Are an Innovative
Alternative for Self-Directed Investors

    FairShares4U facilitates the formation of investment clubs that specialize in venture investing.  We are doing so because we want to increase awareness about this type of investing and expand access for the general public.

    An investment club is simply a group of individuals who pool funds and jointly study and monitor companies to identify investment opportunities.  Usually members start by making an initial deposit and then add to club funds on a monthly basis.

    FairShares support of venture investment clubs is solely construed to mean that FairShares4U will provide free hosting, support and informational services.  FairShares4U will not under any circumstances be involved in any way in  investment decisions that are the entire responsibility of club members.

    We recommend that online clubs be formed in relation to the monthly amounts that members want to deposit.  We also recommend that the number of club members be limited to 100 individuals (within the United States due to SEC regulations), or up to 200 outside the United States as this number will be fairly manageable with online communications.  [All club members have to participate actively in investment decisions.]
