With FairShares everybody can be a Venture Capitalist (VC)

Venture capital funds consistently do better than the stock market by a large percentage!

From 1983 to 2002 the top VC funds had returns of 32%.

Good VC's can do very well with their investments. In one case only 20% of deals failed to deliver and more than 1/3 delivered a greater than 5x return.

Innovation in venture investing can be expected to improve results even more.

Here Is Proof About the Impact of Ventures

Ventures Benefit Everybody. In 1993, Heather "walked into a crummy brick building in East Palo Alto to start a new, $28,000-a-year job" as a receptionist. By June of 1996 she was a millionaire. In Silicon Valley the same was true for "scores of secretaries, receptionists, office managers, and other support personnel who have cashed in on Silicon Valley's seemingly boundless prosperity." For example, Jenny, employee No. 35 at Oracle, became quite wealthy when her stock options granted for $5 per share became worth more than $2,000 less than 15 years later, after some 36 stock splits.

The venture boom in Silicon Valley has created an estimated 50,000+ millionaires.

In 1978, a small company, founded just four years earlier in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with barely a dozen employees, moved to Seattle, Washington. Then, in a 10-year period from 1986 to 1996, Microsoft's stock exploded more than 100- fold, in the process creating an estimated 10,000+ millionaires.

A famous picture entitled "Would You Have Invested?" has been circulating the Internet for many years. If you haven't seen it, click here.

Here Is Proof About the High Returns on Investment You Can Get from Ventures (even with companies you likely haven't heard about.)

VA Linux was founded in 1993 as a small business project. It was a typical small business until late 1998, when venture capitalists became involved. The company's founders and earliest associates received about 10,000,000 shares for $0.02 or less per share. Sequoia Capital, one of the more successful venture capital firms, invested in VA Linux in October of 1998 purchasing 8,663,773 shares at $0.4567 per share.

A number of stock rights were awarded about one year before the IPO. Then during 1999, various individuals and businesses that provided services to VA Linux received shares at prices ranging from $0.27 to $1.00. In addition in June and September of 1999, close to 8,000,000 preferred shares were sold for $3.86 per share to "a group of private investors."

Larry owned 109,488 shares of VA Linux for which he paid 46 cents or less per share about a year or so before the VA Linux IPO on December 9, 1999, on which date the share price reached a value of $239.25!

In other words, $1,000 of Larry's investment grew into close to $530,000 in about one year. (To quote one of our partners, "You can't work for the man and make that kind of money." DPC)

Then there is the amazing Google story. The earnings numbers there and the speed with which those earnings happened are unbelievable. If you haven't done so yet, get the details in the "Special Report, The Venture Investor's Advantage Secret," by Dr. Jim Namaste. Click here.
